7 Day Kenya Safari from Nairobi
Day 1: Nairobi to Amboseli
Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. We’ll transfer you to Wilson Airport for a 35-minute flight to Amboseli. Upon arrival, your camp’s driver-guide will meet you and transfer you in a 4x4 safari vehicle to your luxury tented camp.
Amboseli is famed for its stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. On clear days, you’ll have the chance to see Africa’s highest peak towering over the park. Relax at your camp before enjoying a buffet lunch and some downtime. Later in the afternoon, head out for your first game drive, where you’ll spot the abundant wildlife of Amboseli.
Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight at Tortillis Camp.
Day 2: Amboseli
Rise early for a morning game drive, one of the best times to see Amboseli’s wildlife, especially its famous elephant herds. After the drive, return to camp for breakfast and a leisurely morning. You can take a swim or explore optional activities like nature walks.
After lunch, set out for another safari drive to explore more of Amboseli’s unique ecosystem. In the evening, unwind at the camp and enjoy dinner, with the possibility of adding a pre-dinner sundowner at a scenic location.

Day 3: Amboseli to Samburu
After an early breakfast, you’ll be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi and onward to Samburu National Reserve. You’ll arrive at Samburu around mid-morning, where you’ll be welcomed and transferred to your luxury camp.
Samburu is known for its rare wildlife species, including Grevy’s zebra and the reticulated giraffe. After lunch, head out for a late-afternoon game drive to explore this stunning semi-arid reserve.
Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight at Samburu Intrepids Camp.
Day 4: Samburu
Start your day with a morning game drive, taking advantage of the early hours when animals are most active. Return to camp for breakfast and a relaxing morning. Samburu offers optional activities such as guided nature walks and cultural visits to the local Samburu villages.
After lunch, set out on another game drive to discover more of Samburu’s beauty.
Return to the camp for dinner and overnight at Samburu Intrepids Camp.
Day 5: Samburu to Masai Mara
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your flight to the Masai Mara. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your luxury tented camp in the heart of the reserve.
The Masai Mara is renowned for its abundant wildlife and is the best place to witness the Big Five. After lunch, enjoy a late-afternoon game drive to explore the vast savannah and its resident wildlife. Return to camp in time for dinner.

Day 6: Masai Mara - Balloon Safari
Start your day with a magical hot air balloon ride over the Mara at dawn. Float above the plains and spot wildlife from the sky as the sun rises. After the one-hour flight, enjoy a champagne breakfast in the bush.
Return to camp for a relaxed morning, or opt for a cultural visit to a nearby Maasai village. After lunch, embark on another afternoon game drive to discover more of the Mara’s diverse ecosystem. Return to the camp for a relaxing evening and dinner.
Overnight at Mara Explorer Camp.
Day 7: Masai Mara to Nairobi
After breakfast, you’ll check out and be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, our driver will meet you at Wilson Airport for your transfer to your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home.
If you have extra time in Nairobi, we can arrange for you to explore some of the city’s attractions before your departure.
